Malley is one today! We have been to the doc this morning and he says she is doing great. More on what she is up to these days later though.

We had a birthday blowout on Saturday so all of the Mastins and Limbaughs came to celebrate with us! After a very busy day for our family, our house was spotless somewhat clean and we were ready to party.

Like I said before, all grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins came rolling in!

Oh, and great grandmothers!

The gifts started piling up!

But first we had some great food and enjoyed hanging out.

It takes talent to stand, eat, and read all at the same time.

Finally, it was time to sing Happy Birthday to the Birthday Girl!

Not so sure about the flaming stick…

Mom, are you sure it’s ok for me to eat this, I think it might have sugar in it??
(I appreciated her asking)

She was totally neat and clean with her cake. I was prepared for a mess.

Focused on the task at hand.

She did manage to get some icing on Miller while he was posing for a picture..

April said she wants to have twins next time…

Or maybe not.

:-)

After cake, we moved on to opening those presents!

Big Mal and Ellie got Malley a big red wagon for her birthday! Complete with seats and seatbelts. It was a hit, as were all of the presents with all of the kids. So much fun for everyone.

Is this football player trying to flip the wagon?

It’s ok, we let them do whatever they want around here.

Malley and Ella stayed out with Big Mal wheeling around the neighborhood practically all night…until 7:45!!! Party animals! They loved it and whenever he stopped rolling they would start rocking back and forth for him to go again. Too cute.
As the party wound down, someone wanted a picture of the remaining kids on the couch. Malley LOVES getting her picture taken with her cousins. Rememeber this time.
It went well for her…

Other than this moment, it was a wonderful day. Such great memories. I will be back soon with more from the Birthday Girl. Yay!
